1.According to Dr. Alexander Sun, lung cancer patients who had a daily
serving of a soup containing vegetables and herbs used in traditional
Chinese medicine experienced a shrinkage of tumors and a longer
survival.Ingredients such as soybeans, garlic, ginseng, leek, lentil
beans, ginger and parsley contain chemicals that have recognized anti-
tumor activity. Patients on the Chinese soup diet had three times the
survival rate compared to those on a regular diet.
2.Put the Squeeze on Blood Pressure: Doctors at the Cleveland Clinic
Foundation reported that drinking 2 cups of orange juice a day produced
a meaningful reduction in blood pressure.Orange juice contains vitamin
C, potassium, and antioxidants all of which have been shown to lower
